Όπως ανακοίνωσε η Microsoft τα gadgets στα Windows 8 δεν θα υπάρχουν αφού ήδη η ιστοσελίδα Windows Live Gallery δεν δέχεται upload από developers αλλά θα παύσει να υφίσταται κιόλας σε λίγο καιρό.
